How to setup cisco VPN client on Ubuntu

1. Install


# sudo su -
# apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-`uname -r`
# echo tun >> /etc/modules
# modprobe tun
# cd VPNCLIENT_SRC_DIR
# ./vpn_install
# /etc/init.d/vpnclient_init start

2. edit sfbay.pcf files in /etc/CiscoSystemsVPNClient/Profiles

3. connect to VPN

$vpnclient connect sfbay

4. Disconnect VPN

$vpnclient disconnect
